2 Easy Homemade Wrinkle Cream Recipes

I've been making my own homemade wrinkle cream for about 8 years now. And while a wrinkle cream recipe wasn't always a huge issue for me, I always had wrinkle-prevention in mind. Both prevention and reduction were especially important when I was teaching a class on homemade skin care at night school because my students were between the ages of 30 and 70.

Since I'm an aromatherapist I focus on making the most natural, healthy cream possible. I use natural carrier oils as well as essential oils. And since most of us are too busy to spend hours making a cream, I ONLY make creams that are simple, easy and as quick as possible.

You will have to modify your homemade anti wrinkle cream with essential oils and natural skin care oils based on your skin type.

1} My 5 Minute Homemade Wrinkle Cream Recipe For Normal Skin (My Recipe)

made the discovery of this anti wrinkle cream quite by accident. I remember being pleasantly surprised by how the ingredients reacted with one another and have been making this wrinkle cream for myself, for years. I'm a fan of easy and this is that - while also having a fabulous consistency AND results. It's not 100% natural like Jan's cream below, but it's pretty darn close.

Lily of the Valley is the only aloe vera gel I'll use because it's as natural as it gets. There are preservatives in it, but it's very minimal.

  • Lily of the Valley Aloe Vera Gel - 3oz
  • Vitamin E Oil - 1 tspn or 6 capsules
  • Jojoba oil - 1/2 tspn
  • Essential oil of Ylang Ylang - 3 drops

  1. Put the Lily of the Valley in a glass jar
  2. Add the vitamin E and stirr (I usually use the thick end of a chopstick)
  3. Add the Jojoba oil (or any other combination of carrier oils) and stir again
  4. Add the essentia oil and stir again

Modifications: You can add more aloe vera, carrier oil, or vitamin E for a different consistency. The more Vitamin E, the thicker.

And don't forget - you can modify the the wrinkle cream with natural skin care oils and essential oils for your skin type.

2} Basic White Cream Recipe (by Jan Benham)

This recipe was created by my teacher of aromatherapy. She's a brilliant woman and has the best skin ever! This wrinkle cream is 100% natural as it cleverly uses essential oils and other herbs to preserve it.

Natural Preservatives:
The essential oils in this cream are great for anti wrinkle but they also work as a preservative (along with the Vitamin E and Grapefruit Seed Extract).

Ingredients For Normal Skin:

  • Shea Butter - 5ml
  • Lanette Wax - 1oz
  • Almond Oil - 40ml
  • Coconut Oil - 20ml
  • Rose Water - 50ml
  • Distilled Water - 300ml
  • Vitamin E - 5ml
  • Grapefruit Seed Extract - 3ml
  • Myrhh - 5 drops
  • Benzoin resinoid - 5 drops

  1. Melt the Shea butter, lanette wax coconut and almond oil in a double-boiler
  2. Heat the Rose Water and Distilled Water in another pan/pot
  3. When the wax, butter, and oil have all completely melted, SLOWLY add the heated (not boiling) water to the fats...stirring all the time.
  4. Remove the heat resistant bowl (containing the fats and water, from the heat.
  5. Continue stirring until the mixture has completely cooled.
  6. Add the vitamin E, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Essential Oils of Myrhh and Benzoin.
  7. Bottle into sterilized hars and keep in fridge.

Why you need preservativies:
Whenever you mix water and oils together, you NEED some sort of preservative or you'll end up with a natural cream that's just as (or more) harmful than a chemically-made cream.
